Crucial details help Azuza Hookah Lounge stand above the rest

When Nancy Bedwan took over the Azuza Hookah Lounge in February, she made small yet impactful changes across all aspects of the business that would bolster it into becoming one of the premier hookah lounges in the city.

“We are an upscale lounge that is beautiful on the inside, truly picture worthy and a great place for a memorable night,” said Nancy Bedwan, owner of Azuza Hookah Lounge.

Azuza brings innovation to a very traditional recreation by introducing their very own tableside hookah service where professionally trained hookah masters artfully prepare pineapple hookah heads in front of their guests. “We expand on the theme of ‘pineapples’ by offering a couples package on our menu that has become an increasingly popular date-night request called ‘the Pineapple Experience for two’ states Bedwan. “It includes a delicious Pineapple Shrimp entrée for two, two Pineapple Mojitos made with fresh squeezed pineapple juice and a Pineapple Hookah Head served tableside – it is truly an experience our guests will remember”.

Nancy and her trusted team thoughtfully enhanced the menu. The bar menu was revamped with scintillating signature cocktails including the Blue Azuza, a must try when visiting to pair with a long list of over 40 tobacco flavors, mixed in any combination without an upcharge. The flavor of the food has been elevated and is something that keeps people coming back whether they are smokers or not! Azuza takes great pride in their dinner menu offering dishes that are prepared when ordered, including Halal Kabobs; Filet Mignon, Shrimp, Chicken, Beef and Azuza’s world famous New Zealand Lamb Chops. But it’s their dedication to the success of their employees that has made the biggest impact on the overall customer service at Azuza Hookah Lounge.

“Communication is key, so we implemented ongoing meetings with the staff to make sure our guests have the ultimate hookah experience each and every time they visit our lounge,” Bedwan said. “Five Star hospitality for our valued guests is our top priority which includes offering personalized recommendations to make sure every patron feels comfortable, especially those who have never stepped into a hookah lounge before. Our entire team will continually check in on them and their hookah throughout their visit making sure their needs are being tended to, ensuring an entertaining and unforgettable evening with us.”

Aside from the atmosphere, fantastic food and exceptional customer service guests can take comfort in the fact that Azuza is unwavering about following and exceeding all safety and sanitary guidelines. Nancy shares that “At Azuza, it is our policy to thoroughly sanitize all hookahs after each use without exception, and we deliver each hookah to our guests with a new, unopened hose and new mouthpieces each and every time.”

Azuza has added a detailed reservation system to its newly designed website to make it easier for guests to have an enjoyable and safe experience. If you plan on visiting the lounge, don’t forget to check out the addition of an elegant social media spot for selfies which has been a big hit with both regulars and patrons who newly visit the lounge.
