Heat and Choices: How to choose the right HVAC company

There are a lot of air conditioning and heating companies in Las Vegas – especially the “one truck” companies that seem to appear in Las Vegas during the summer and then “disappear” shortly thereafter. Choosing the right HVAC company for service or new HVAC installation can save money and lots of headaches. Remember that price shouldn’t be the only item when deciding.

Here are some tips when searching:

1. Look at the reputation of the manufacturer and the warranty that is offered, review your potential HVAC company with the contracting board and the Better Business Bureau.
2. Review their web presence and see what their customers say about them and the service they provide.
3. Don’t be afraid to get more than one bid.
4. Do not sign any document the HVAC Company asks you to sign except for giving them permission to evaluate your system.
