Openings

Hamptons at Tivoli Village is in the two-story space previously home to the Greek restaurant Petra, Angelo Sossa’s Poppy Den and a pair of Alex Stratta projects. And it turns out, chef Jay Bogsinske’s limited Las Vegas experience includes some time apprenticing for Stratta at his critically acclaimed Mirage fine-dining restaurant, Renoir. Bogsinske said his former mentor has wished him luck with the venture. The Hamptons’ all-American menu includes deviled eggs, fried avocados, short ribs topped with a fried egg and a deconstructed banana split.

Brett Raymer, star of Animal Planet’s “Tanked,” and members of the cast will host the grand opening of Raymer’s Donut Mania from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the shop at 4460 S. Durango Drive. Donut Mania offers more than 50 varieties, including doughnut holes, minis, seasonal flavors, vegan and protein doughnuts. There’s another location, at 725 S. Green Valley Parkway in Henderson, and a third one is planned for Summerlin this fall.

Bite of Las Vegas returns

Mix 94.1 brings its annual Bite of Las Vegas festival back to Desert Breeze Park from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.
