A Las Vegas casino is bringing a Disneyland staple to the skies above downtown.
A new nightclub in the sky and a ground-floor cocktail lounge will be coming to the Palms in mid-May, both operated by Clique Hospitality Group.
The space at the top of the resort’s original tower that was formerly home to Ghostbar will re-open under the name Apex Social Club. The 8,000-square-foor space with a 180-degree view is being described as “an open-air boutique nightclub.” It will feature music by local and national DJs and a décor that’s described as “sophisticated (and) upscale,” with warm finishes and one-of-a-kind art pieces. The bar menu will include specialty-crafted cocktails, while bottle service will be offered tableside.
Down on the ground floor, Camden Cocktail Lounge will be located next to the resort’s main entrance. According to a statement from Clique, it will focus on “mind-blowing cocktails, all presented in a distinctive over-the-top manner and with flair unlike anything seen before.” Music will be provided by live acts as well as DJs.
The Palms is currently in the midst of a major renovation following its sale to Station Casinos. Along with these two projects, and the recently opened A.Y.C.E. Buffet, new restaurants from celebrity chefs Bobby Flay, Chris Santos, Michael Symon and James Beard Award winner Marc Vetri are expected in late 2018 and early 2019.
